Chamila Ruwan Kumari | Treasurer
Chamila Liyanage is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia) with over 20 years of experience in finance, auditing, and governance across both Australia and Sri Lanka. Before moving to Australia, she held several senior finance and leadership roles in Sri Lanka, leading accounting teams and overseeing complex financial operations in the commercial and manufacturing sectors.
Currently serving as the Volunteer Treasurer of the Foundation of Lupus Australia, Chamila brings a strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and purpose-driven financial management. Her experience spans not-for-profit and healthcare organisations, with a focus on building efficient systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting good governance.
Chamila is passionate about using her expertise to strengthen community-focused organisations and to create sustainable support for those living with lupus. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her family and her German Shepherd-Labrador, Rocky.

Davina-Lee Weir | Company Secretary
Davina is a state tax specialist working predominantly in indirect tax.
Davina was diagnosed with early stage lupus (SLE) and fibromyalgia in 2025 but had symptoms for several years before receiving a diagnosis. She is passionate about forming and expanding support networks for people diagnosed with Lupus, and their immediate family members

Elizabeth Donald | Board Director
Elizabeth Donald is a medical consultant and content developer with a doctoral background in oncology and rare diseases. She has led and contributed to peer-reviewed research, served as a reviewer for Springer Nature, and developed internationally adopted, award-winning programs for healthcare professionals. Elizabeth sits on the Board of the Lupus Foundation of Australasia, where she supports education, strategy and evidence-based advocacy.

Daman Langguth | Board Director
Dr Daman Langguth is a clinical and laboratory immunologist, having also trained in rheumatology. He is Director of Immunology at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology and works in online consultancy with the Mater Hospital, both in Brisbane. His specific research interests are in healthcare information translation, water contamination by chemical and plastic residues as well as Vasculitis. He is the outgoing treasurer of the Australian and New Zealand Vasculitis Society, being a founding member and ongoing director. He has been in many positions in the Royal Australasian College of Pathologists and chaired the federal governments MBS review into Immunopathology and maintained funding into lupus testing.
